Cuba Trip December  2017 Itinerary through Cuba Social Tours

 

Departing on Tuesday, December 26, and returning on Tuesday, January 2nd

 

*All transportation, events, and meals are all-inclusive.

 

Day 1*

  • Arrival in Havana airport. Transfer to Havana

  • Arrival and check into the hotel room.

  • Dinner at an original Cuban restaurant

  • Tour of Morro Castle (Castillo del Morro – Habana) at night.

  • Walk around El Malecón (Havana Pier)

 

Day 2 *

  • Ride in classic American cars

  • Museo de la Revolución/U.S Embassy/Cuban National Capitol/Old Havana tours

  • Havana Cabaret show – You can learn how to dance with professional dancers

 

Day 3*

  • Marina Hemingway (Cuba's largest marina) tour

  • Visit Finca Vigia  (Ernest Hemingway’s house in San Francisco de Paula, Cuba)

  • Spend some time at eastern Havana town beaches (Guanabo-Santa María)

  • Dinner at a local restaurant (lobster, red snapper, Cuban roast pork)

  • Cuban nightlife (Best local dance clubs with authentic Cuban music and Cuban people)

 

Day 4*

  • Depart for Pinar del Rio

  • Tour of Las Terrazas (a small community designated a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1984)   

  • Boat rides

  • Horse-riding

  • Zip-lining

  • Drive to Pinar del Rio Hotel

  • Dinner at El Gallardo restaurant

  • Pinar del Rio downtown tour/baseball game

  • Dance lesson by enthusiastic Cuban dance teachers. Guests are introduced to the basic steps of the Cuban salsa.

 

Day 5*

  • Cueva del Indio Viñales (Indigenous Cave) Tour

  • Mural de la Prehistoria

  • Palenque de Los Cimarrones

  • Dinner at a local restaurant (lobster, red snapper, Cuban roast pork)

  • Polo Montañez Plaza visit

  • Aguas Claras tour

  • Cuban nightlife (Local dance clubs with authentic Cuban music and Cuban people)

 

Day 6*

  • Visit a tobacco farm and a tobacco factory right in the world’s most revered tobacco land.

  • Visit a Cuban local rum factory

  • Visit an elementary/university school. Meet with faculty/staff and students to engage in discussions about access to education, available subjects, resources, and preparation for post-education careers

  • Depart for Varadero. Arrival and check into hotel room in Varadero

  • Lunch at a local restaurant (lobster, red snapper, Cuban roast pork)

  • Relaxing time at the beach

  • Varadero Cabaret show – You can learn how to dance with professional dancers

 

Day 7*

  • Day at the beach (optional): Snorkeling, scuba diving, wave runners and Jet Ski, golf, etc.

  • Che Guevara Mausoleum tour (optional)

  • Ciénaga de Zapata tour (optional)

  • Enjoy a performance of the Youth Chorus of Matanzas at the Casa de Cultura

  • Visit authentic Cuban handicraft stores

  • Relaxing final evening and farewell dinner

  • Cuban Nightlife (Dancing live music in the streets with Cuban music groups. Continue at local night clubs with authentic Cuban music and Cuban people)

 

Day 8*

  • Breakfast and depart for Havana Airport

Other lodging arrangements can be made if you prefer to make this experience even more affordable without compromising its quality.
